Located in the vibrant business hub of West Kings House Road, our latest project introduces a cutting-edge commercial office space and headquarters for the Western Sports Group. This development showcases striking architectural designs, featuring a spacious and seamless facade. The structure stands tall as a 6-storey office complex, complete with a dual-level basement parking facility.

As Structural Engineers, we meticulously crafted a design centered around a reinforced concrete frame complemented by strategically placed shear walls. The challenge of the building's open-front elevations required innovative solutions to maintain structural integrity, especially in seismic conditions where traditional bracing options were limited. Our approach included leveraging the wing walls integrated within the architectural 'picture frame' to establish a robust coupling system, ensuring stability and mitigating any potential structural twisting.

The design also incorporates a recessed mezzanine level, creating impressive double-height entryways and expansive 12-meter clear spans along the front facade. To achieve these spans while preserving the lightweight aesthetic, double-height steel trusses were seamlessly integrated between the first and second floors.
