Introducing Happy Hour Villa, a stunning new addition to the Discovery Bay Strip in St. Ann, Jamaica, boasting a contemporary modern design across 13,000 square feet. Situated on over an acre of land, this luxurious villa features its own private white sand beach and a picturesque swimming cove. With 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, each bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet. Six oceanfront bedrooms offer breathtaking views of Discovery Bay Harbor, while one garden view suite overlooks exquisite gardens.

Our role as structural engineers was pivotal in adapting a traditional concrete framed solution with infill block walls to meet the villa’s expansive scale. The design presented significant challenges, particularly in accommodating the desire for expansive open spaces which pushed the limits of our floor designs. Equally critical was addressing coastal conditions, including considerations for hurricane and storm surge levels. To safeguard against these risks, the villa was strategically elevated above storm surge levels and engineered to withstand hurricane-force winds, ensuring resilience and safety without compromising on aesthetics or functionality.
