PROVEN Properties entrusted our team with the structural and civil engineering services for AVISTA at Bloomfield, their inaugural development in Mandeville's bustling center. This project is an integral component of the pioneering Bloomfield mixed-use development, designed to seamlessly integrate residential, commercial, and entertainment spaces.

Our approach centered on a concrete flat slab residential structural frame, chosen for its efficiency in rapid construction. This method allowed for swift assembly of the structural framework, enabling concurrent progress with non-structural elements under its cover. The site primarily featured moderately hard limestone rock formations, facilitating standard pad foundations. However, we encountered a challenge during excavation when a steep drop-off in the rock formation was discovered at one corner of the building footprint. This unexpected geological anomaly stemmed from an unidentified area of slumping soil, necessitating agile on-site adjustments. Working closely with geotechnical specialists, we implemented a deeper rafter solution following soil improvement through compacted fill material.

AVISTA at Bloomfield will introduce 78 studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments, complemented by a suite of amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness center, swimming pool, clubhouse, and lounge. Each unit will feature balconies offering scenic mountain views, contemporary interiors, and open floor plans, embodying a modern living experience at the heart of Mandeville's dynamic urban landscape.
